Simone Assboeck is an experienced professional dancer, actress and singer. She is interested in dancing, acting and singing parts on Broadway, film and television.

Simone began ballroom dancing as a child and has since turned her love for dance into a career with a wide repertoire of traditional (International & American Standard and Latin dances) and other dances (West Coast Swing, Hustle, Country Line Dancing, Salsa, Modern, Freestyle, Argentine Tango, Hip Hop and Tap). Simone is a truly versatile dancer and is equally adept in partner dancing and solo/individual dancing.

Among her many dance credits, she recently appeared in Walt Disney Pictures’ Enchanted (2007) as principal dancer and dance stand-in for lead actress Amy Adams, and in HBO’s television show “Boardwalk Empire” (2010) as Babette’s dancer and principal dancer.

Simone studied acting at HB Studio in New York City under Michael Beckett, at Michael Howard Acting Studios under Joan Evans, and studied Shakespeare with T. Schreiber with Page Clement. She trained in improvisational technique at HB Studios under Carl Kissin. She studied voice training with Bettina Shepard, Kurt Robinson and Tom Sandri and studied vocal production with T. Schreiber with Page Clement. In addition, she studied Clown & Mask with Dodi Disanto and David Shiner.

• Masters degree in Physical Education with a focus on Modern Dance and Rehabilitation.
• Fluent in English and German, with a working knowledge of Spanish.
• Special skills include horseback riding, sailing, basketball, swimming, pilates, yoga and piano (classically trained).
