Little Mermaids "Sebastian"

Often referred to as a “star in the making”, Tituss Burgess is certainly making his mark! Most recently launching his first solo R & B album entitled “Here’s to You”, while he performs nightly on Broadway in Disney’s The Little Mermaid as Sebastian. Music comes naturally to this Georgia native, who discovered his love for it through church at a young age. Amazingly, his skills and talent grew so quickly that he was conducting the very choir he learned to sing in by the time he was a junior in high school. Today, he writes and produces his own music, incorporating strong classically based skills with a passion for modern music.

Rasta Thomas
Ballet's ultimate businessman

When you think of Rasta Thomas the question that comes to mind might be is there anything this man can’t do? A brilliant and critically acclaimed dancer, martial artist, and choreographer who refuses to stop there! Rasta has danced around the world, repeatedly making history. Who else can claim they were both the first American to become a member of the Kirov Ballet of St.Petersburg, Russia and the youngest principle dancer to join the Dance Theater of Harlem? Rasta continuously pushes the envelope, creating his own ideas of where he will go next with his career. His most recent accolades? They range from starting the dance company, Bad Boys of Dance to creating the first ever online dance competition, DIVA. All before the age of 27!

Mandy Moore
Teacher and Choreographer Extraodinaire!

When Mandy was mentioned in casual conversation with a very successful Broadway choreographer, she was described as one of the most innovative choreographers of her time. Not only is she an amazing choreographer, she brings something extremely unique to every stage as a performer. It's been refreshing to meet someone so talented, humble, down to earth and giving in this sometimes cut-throat business. Catch Mandy teaching at the Edge Performing Arts Center or on the convention circuit across the Country and Internationally.

Andy Blankenbuehler
Choreographer/Director - CONGRATULATIONS on the Lortel, Outer Critic & Drama Desk Awards "Best Choreography" for In the Heights!!

Called "the brightest new Choreographer this side of the Hudson" by theatre critc Scott Siegel, Andy's most recent work can be seen Off Broadway in the new musical "In the Heights". This winter Andy choreographed Roundabout Theatre Company's revival "The Apple Tree" starring Kristin Chenoweth and has recently begun work on a new West End production of "Desperately Seeking Susan" in London. As a performer, Mr. Blankenbuehler has appeared on Broadway in Fosse (singing Mr. Bojangles on the cast recording), Contact, Man of La Mancha, Saturday Night Fever, Steel Pier, Big, Guys and Dolls, as well as the pre-Broadway productions of Parade and On The Town.

Mark Meismer
Renowned Dancer - Stage, Television & Film

Mark's credits span from Mia Michaels' innovative company, R.A.W to countless film and television appearances including Austin Powers II, Will and Grace, Mad About You and the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. He has danced at the MTV Music Awards and the VH1 Fashion Awards. He has toured with Reba McEntire and Ricky Martin, and has performed in countless commercial and industrial projects. Mark is also the found and Artistic Director of Evolution Dance Company in LA. We got on the phone with him to discuss his amazing career, his biggest influences, and his advice for you.

Joey Dowling
Teacher/Choreographer/Dancer - Triple Threat

Currently Joey is part of the cast of the new Off Broadway hit "In the Heights". On Broadway she has performed in "Dance of the Vampires" and the recent revival of "Sweet Charity" starring Christina Applegate. Tour, TV and Film credits include Mariah Carey's ”Butterfly” World Tour, the MTV Video Music Awards w/ JLo, the VH1 Vogue Fashion Awards w/ Macy Grey, The Victoria Secret Fashion Show, “Sex & the City”, ”Guiding Light”, “CHICAGO" (movie), and “The Producers” (movie). Joey has also worked extensively as a Choreographer, Teacher and Asst. to such Choreographers as Mia Michaels, Joe Lanteri, Andy Blankenbuehler and Sergio Trujillo. She is on faculty at New York City Dance Alliance and often teaches at both Broadway Dance Center and Steps in NYC. Learn what she did to get where she is and her advice for you!

Malaya
Teacher/Choreographer - The Edge, Los Angeles

One of the most popular teachers in Los Angeles today, Malaya's class is a favorite of students and industry professionals alike. Malaya teaches private workshops both nationally and internationally as well as regular classes at the EDGE Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles, CA. Her own performing expereince in television and videos include The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and “Betcha” with Prince. She was also featured in the blockbuster film Batman & Robin starring George Clooney. We sat down with Malaya to find out what catches the eye of one of the nations top teachers.

Mia Price
Triple threat Broadway performer

Mia Price is a triple threat performer whose talents as an actor, singer and dancer have landed her roles in Broadway shows and International tours. Mia has appeared on Broadway in “Oklahoma” and “The Frogs” and has toured with the Tony Award winning musical “Thoroughly Modern Millie” , "Spamalot" and “7 Brides for 7 Brothers”. She can be seen in the made for TV, PBS production of “Crazy for You” and is a featured dancer in the blockbuster film version of “The Producers”. Along with Mia’s endless list of musical theatre credits she also appears on the “Great Stage” at Radio City Music Hall in NY where she has been a Radio City Rockette for 6 years. Mia took time from her busy touring schedule in Japan with the International Tour of “Chicago” to answer a few questions and give you some insight on the secrets to a successful performing career.

Dominique Kelley
Broadway Performer - Wicked, Hott Feet - Triple Threat

Dominique performed his first professional role in a musical at age 13 when he toured the country with "Bring in 'da Noise, Bring in 'da Funk". He can be seen in the movie version of "The Producers" and the upcoming Beatles film "Across the Universe". He's performed on Broadway in both "Hot Feet" and "Wicked". This past year Dominique was part of the much anticipated revival of "The Wiz" at La Jolla Playhouse in California. Find out he's spent so many years as a working performer and what advice he has to help you do the same.
